Our CEO and Founder
Prof Mike Gorley, CEng, CSci, FIMMM.
With decadal experience in Advanced Energy Technologies, state of the art Research & Development programmes, influencing Gov policy, a Master’s in Physics and a PhD from Oxford University. Mike established Green Dragon Energy to enable thought leaders to accelerate the worlds Green Energy transition.
Mike has held roles as Chief Technologist at UK Atomic Energy Authority, Director for large research divisions, is a Visiting Professor at the University of Bristol and Non-Executive-Director at several advanced materials corporations.
With extensive experience in strategic leadership and innovation, Mike specializes in driving technological advancement within high-impact sectors, particularly fusion energy and nuclear materials.
As CEO Mike leads all executive decisions for Green Dragon Energy.

Our History
Established in 2025 Green Dragon Energy was realised to positively impact and change humanity.
The accelerating need for the Global Green Energy Transition highlighted the need for our experienced staff to take leading roles across varied organisations (our consultancy) and utilise thought leadership towards targeted impacts (our internal research and development).
